Hi – I’m Janet, the author of this blog.  I’m a wife, mother, Buddhist, author, Reiki practitioner, yoga practicer, and nurse.  WordPress has had a little banner across the top of my blog dashboard for months suggesting I update this page so you could know  something about me.  I’m finally heeding the request.  This is the beginning…oh – I also have an incredibly tender heart that I’m trying to learn how to live with.

    Hi Janet, I have started doing Yoga classes this year in earnest. I try and go at least twice a week and one of them means i have to be up 6:00 am to be there in 7;30 am. But I find it really beneficial 🙂

      Thank you! I’ve practiced for years, but then stopped. Now I feel too fat to “do” yoga. Can you imagine? It’s ridiculous. Thanks for the encouragement.
